- Versatile dimensions and thickness
AB 200 has excellent characteristics against severe abrasive wear with moderate resistance to impact.
Our classic and balanced recipe of chrome carbides, Manganese and Boron results in a Chromium rich matrix, which in combination with high carbon, gives excellent wear resistant characteristics and increased hardness.
Base plate including but not limited to mild steel S235JR, stainless steel and AR steel.
Suitable for components and parts that are exposed to temperatures up to 400 oC and ideal for applications like Pipes, Concrete Mixers, Mill Linings, Separators, Screens, Excavator Buckets and Bucket Wheel Liners and many more.
AB 300 is an extra hard clad plate with additives that offers even higher abrasion resistance in severe stress applications with moderate impact conditions.
AB 300 has excellent characteristics against severe abrasive wear with moderate resistance to impact. Service life is extended compared to our AB-200, due to the inclusion of fine Niobium carbides in the matrix. Depending on the specific application, wear life can be extended by 20-40%.
The addition of FeNb prevents the detachment of M7C3 carbides from the matrix due to their finely dispersed distribution, giving an extended service life to the material.
The addition of Nb particles prevents the detachment of the needle like chromium carbides, giving the product increased performance where impact is present.
AB 300 hardfacing quality is suitable for components and parts that are exposed to temperatures up to 400 oC and ideal for applications in different industries where materials not only slide, but also drop, get milled or pulverized.
AB 350 is an extra hard clad plate with additives that gives even higher abrasion resistance in severe stress applications with medium impact conditions.
AB 350 has excellent characteristics against severe abrasive wear with moderate resistance to impact. Depending on the specific application, wear life can be extended by 30-45%.
Molybdenum is a carbide forming element and is found in the M7C3 carbides. By including the correct percentage by weight in the composition, wear rate of the material decreases significantly.
Suitable for components and parts that are exposed to temperatures up to 400oC and ideal for applications in different industries where material not only slides, but also dropped, milled or pulverized.
AB 400 is a highly alloyed composite wear plate with excellent performance against severe abrasive wear at elevated temperatures (>600 °C).
Our fully automated production method and our quality control procedures secure a product with homogenous chemical analysis and hardness.
The chromium rich microstructure with the addition of complex carbides (Mo, V, W, Nb) provides a material suitable to maintain wear resistant performance and hardness at elevated temperatures.
Suitable for components in the steel industry, power generation and for applications such as hot gas fans and fan housings, screens, cement furnace parts, sinter plant components and separators as well as blast furnace hoppers and liners that are exposed to elevated temperatures.
This material is also available as welding stick electrode (ABRA 400).
